Headphone Review: Sennheiser Adidas PMX 685i

Running Headphones worth the money

Sennheiser Adidas PMX 685i review covers the one of five sports earphones which is a part of the new series released by the collaborator effort of Sennheiser and Adidas. The Sennheiser Adidas PMX 685i has an ergonomic neck band design similar to model released last year. But they are comparatively lighter and thinner. The earphones can be worn in five different ways for optimum comfort level and whichever way you choose to wear them, they tend to stay in place while running.  Moreover the neck band styled Sennheiser Adidas PMX 685i can be easily worn under helmets by cyclists with the ambient sound effect which will keep you in check with your surroundings. As most sports earphones they are have a moisture protection system so you can easily wash them under running water after a sweaty run. Sennheiser Adidas PMX 685i is made from durable materials so the issue of being worn out after a time of rough use will not occur. This will please the sports enthusiasts because one certainly does not have the time to delicately handle sports earphones. Available for £60, the PMX 685i are particularly made to function with Apple gadgets. It allows you to take calls and adjust music volume, another feature which deems as a necessity for a convenient sports earphone. As these are closed style earphones, in terms of sound quality they are better than most of its counterparts. Production of powerful sound without any distortion at high volume and frequencies is something missing from most of the sports earphones. But since PMX 685i fix tightly over your ears, your ears might start to feel sore after an hour. For those who do not face any adverse comfort issues, the Sennheiser Adidas PMX 685i is a worthwhile investment for sports fans. These are running headphones? I can’t believe how good these sound. They’re really not bad. We had to pick a tragic flaw, and that was it. Personally I only started feeling them after the 30 minute mark and even after an hour they weren’t awful. Be aware they are ‘made for iPods, iPhones iPads’. The controls (volume, ff, etc) work fine on my iPod but do not on my Samsung Galaxy S3 phone. Good head phones with decent sound and bass. These are comfortable headphones for walking, running and general use.

Good sound quality. Durable.
Uncomfortable after length usage. Bad compatibility with other phones except Apple’s products. Not suitable for workouts in which you have to lay back.
