Bose L1 Compact PA System

The Bose L1 Compact is the latest addition to the L1 Compact Portable Line Array System which has completely redefined the meaning of ‘portable’. The all-in-one L1 Compact system combines the conventional PA system and monitors in to one sleek unit weighing just 29 pounds. It is versatile, practical and suitable for various kinds of performing artists.

The Bose L1 Compact has an amplifier, mixer and a bass cabinet which are all built-in with four inputs and two outputs. Channel 1 is for a vocal microphone input and Channel 2 is pre-optimized for any other inputs including ipods, laptops, guitars or a keyboard. The two channels are bridged by Bose’s ToneMatch technology ensuring that the instruments together do not cause any hindrance during performances. It also features Spatial Dispersion® loudspeaker technology which has six drivers arranged at fixed angles delivering sound evenly across the stage and beyond. The sound has no irregularities even in the corners or extreme sides, covering almost 180 degrees of area.

The simplistic design of Bose L1 Compact makes it a ready-to-go system which is portable and light weight. It is easy to set up and does not take more than two minutes. It has three components; the base, extension and one speaker array that easily fit into a travelling bag suitable for your backseat or the trunk. It is an excellent system to set up at a gig or any other occasion catering up to an audience of hundred. The sound is powerful as well as dynamic, it diffuses well and the pre-amplifiers produce a great enough result for its size. For a decent amount of around £640 it is worth the money for a singer/song-writer looking for a high grade PA system.

Not only is the sound even and people in the front and the back of the building have same consistent sound, but the sound is so clear and natural that it feels like the person speaking in to a microphone is about two feet away.

One of the best speaker investments I have ever made. When initially looking at the room to play in, I immediately look to see if they will work in the room, about 90% of the time they are perfect!

This Bose system is just awesome. I use it at a gym facility for classes as well as background music. The sound quality is top notch and the volume is WAY more than needed.

The Bose L1 Compact is the smallest, lightest, and most affordable system in Bose’s series of L1 portable line array systems — and it’s the most popular, too.

No speaker cables hence no hassle. Fast setup, clean and well spread sound, good response and easy to store and transport.
Might be pricey for some.
